Doctor of Jurisprudence, with distinction, Stanford University. U.S.-Germany Fulbright fellow at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich. Theology fellow at the Newbigin House of Studies, San Francisco. Visiting student at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Nonmatriculated student of theology, philosophy, and comparative religion for several decades. Member of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Christian Philosophers.
